Primary & High School
Admission to other classes will depend on the number of seats available. Announcement regarding admissions will be made after the annual exams are over.
Higher Secondary
Admission to XIth Standard is a fresh admission. All students desirous of admission to XIth Standard should apply immediately after the Xth Board results are declared. All admissions will be subject to screening by the Principal which may include entrance test and screening by a team of Staff, to decide the eligibility to the group selected by the student. As the seats are limited and all applicants cannot be accommodated among the three groups, following criteria and process will be used for selection:
The school will prepare a merit list taking the average of the internal assessment and the Board results of class X.

Applicants along with their parents, as per the merit list, will be called for counseling before a panel of teachers.

Admission to various groups will depend on the availability of seats and the performance of the applicant.

In case of a tie in merit, marks obtained in English will determine the order of merit. Should the tie continue, marks obtained in Maths will be considered for Group A and marks of General Science for Group B and Social Science for Group C.

Apart from the academic performance, other areas that will be considered in the selection will include applicant's conduct which should be good or better.
N.B : Applicants and parents who fail to appear for counseling will not qualify for admission to class XI.
Further, compartment cases will not be considered for class XI even if the applicant clears the subject later.
An applicant from schools other than Vimala convent seeking admission must attach photocopies of the School Report Card (class X) and the Board exam mark sheet along with the application and present the originals at the time of screening. This will be followed by an entrance test.
